About me

I am an English teacher in West London, married to Mark (twice), and parent to Pip. I identify as Anglo-Indian, but you wouldn’t know it if you saw me! I definitely take after the ‘Griffiths’ side of my family.

About Mum

Phyllis Elizabeth Teresa Griffiths: wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend. She died on 21 January 2017 from CPKD - chronic polycystic kidney disease. When she died, friends and family donated over £1000 to the National Kidney Federation. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/phyllisgriffiths My Dad, Tony Griffiths, died suddenly on 29 June 2018. Some of their ashes have been scattered in Rome and in Garessio and some have been interred with my Granny and Papa at Greenford Cemetery. I have a ring made by Ashes With Art that contains a tiny amount of them, which is very comforting at times of stress or sadness. But most importantly, their urns sit on top of the kitchen cabinets, next to Mark's parents, and they all look down on me as I cook.
